Getting visitors to your blog from facebook
I’ve found that Facebook actually is a good place to promote one’s blog, where I can create group, and add application, to get people noticing my blog…
1. group:
Firstly I’ve given a name to the group, which is related with my blog, attached URL in the “website” section, then invited all people in my friend lists to join, some of them would join, just to be friendly to me, hehe… Some people might would not respond directly, since not all people would login facebook daily, so I see my group is growing day by day, hehe…
Secondly I also started one topic there, asking if people like to blog about the topic I am writing about in my blog…
Thirdly in “Recent News” section I gave a post about the latest blog I’d given at the moment…
Later I’ll be uploading a video from my blog as well…
2. application:
I typed “blog” in the search bar on top right of facebook home page, then a new page came up, with all results of the contents for “blog”, then I jumped to “application” tab, checked the applications one by one, then I got a one working good for me, – “Mirror blog” – in the list, added my blog into the application, and when it’s all done, I also added this application into my profile and info section, so that whoever goes through my facebook page, would see the blog feed with some latest articles links…
These two methods really helped improving traffic coming to my blog… And I wish you good luck for it as well!
